I know its been decades since I last blogged. I have been busy (lame excuse)

Life has been more or less about school and work and school and work. (Wait isn't school and work the same thing) I've been doing alot some soul searching lately and this question keep coming to mind... What is success? With the introduction of the growth package to this industry, I'm starting to reconsider my career choice. What is the growth package... (a bloody waste of time!) Anyway this package has taken the away the joy in teaching. It seems like everyone is out to eat each other up. (LITERALLY) I know its like this too in the outside working environment but must it be like this too in schools. Isn't touching lives the main purpose of teaching?

Maybe I'm just dillusional after watching the MOE advertisment.. Maybe that is why the turn over rate for teachers is so high.. Maybe thats why people think being a teacher is such a commenable thing.

What ever the reason is.. it stills fall back on the question What is sucess...I'm sure its more that work place regconition, peace at home or even being filthy rich..

I dont know what sucess is to me yet, but I'll keep searching...
