A mother is 21 years older than the child. 6 yearsfrom now themother will be 5 times as old as the child.Question : Where's the father?Solution:The mother is 21 years older than the child.
M = C + 21
In 6 years from now the mum will be 5 times as oldas the child.
M + 6 = (C + 6) x 5
Hence,C + 21 + 6 = (C + 6) x 5
C + 27 = 5C + 30
-3 = 4C
C = -3/4
The child is -3/4 years old, that is, it'll be born in 9months.
Thus.. by mathematical induction....
...Right now the Father is on top of Mother

"Hamsters are small, virtually tailless, velvet-furred rodents with enormous cheek pouches. They originated in the Middle East and southeastern Europe. The most common and popular, both as pets and laboratory animals, is the golden or Syrian hamster. Color and hair-type varieties of the golden hamster include cinnamon, cream, white, and "teddy bear" (the long-haired variety). Most of the hamsters sold as pets or used in research are the descendants of 3 littermates domesticated in 1930."I think I am becoming a hamster. With which day I dont get a job, the evolution process quickens.
Hamsters eat, sleep, run in a wheel and shit all day. Me? I eat, sleep run around my house and shit all day. It is happening, I am becoming one.
After coming back from bangkok, I have became a full fledge hamster. I am also developing a hamster tummy ! It wouldn't be long before someone writes and short paragraph on me. I can just picture it ....
"In a strange turn of events, a 20 year old chinese girl started exhibiting hamster like behavior after not being able to find work in months. At first, her parents thought it was normal, considering her love for hamsters, but soon, they found her nibbling and storing sunflower seeds in her mouth. Alarmed at this bizzare behavior, her parents sent her for counselling only to realise that she would "SQUEAK!" and vanish into a corner when the counseller came near her. They manage to lure her out with promises of sunflower seeds and dried nuts. Since the change in her behavior, this girl have created for herself and little nest in her room and have been eating at 2 hours intervals. A portion of every evening's dinner has been stored in a small compartment in her room. Counsellors and scientist are baffled at this weird behavior. Dr H H. Tan of the Singapore Mental Health Association quoted :" This is the first instance where we have seen a human exhibit such behavior. Evolution seems to have taken a turn for the worst. Maybe one day everyone would become hamsters."

Hi everyone, I am back from bangkok.
Can I have a short moment to rant and rave about my sad miserable self? Please?
I know I should be happy that I had a holiday. A well deserved one, I must add. But that 3 days was just an escape. An escape from the greater problems that would lie ahead. Alright, lets be positive here, not problems, challenges.
I still dont have a job. (WHAO WEEE!) I know one month is considered short. I heard of graduates who stay jobless 6 months. I need a job, I am not afraid to say I only have $75 in my bacnk a/c now. I need something to keep my mind occupied. I have been battling with myself and my insecurities. Let me be frank here, I am not happy with somethings that are going to happen. But I know me being not happy is being selfish or am I? I don't know.
Overall my trip to bangkok was fun. A breather. Good beer. If I was there longer, I would become an alcoholic....

Is it just me or do I always screw up interviews?
I just finished my 2nd interview for SIS, I tell you, I left that wanting to cry. And now I am in school, 2 hours early for my lesson. I hope class ends early today. I dont know what is wrong with me. I hope they do call me back soon but I am not sure the chances are there. Its been a sucky week so far. The rain and my consant worry about never able to find the ideal job. I had a call from tiger airways today. I dont want to go for that interview, but I dont really have a choice now do I? Just dress to impress and try not to sound too cocky. I seriously feel that I come off too cocky to the interviews. I don't know. I am depressed. Lousy interview. I feel lousy....

I just got back from relief teaching at Tao Nan. MAN I'M SHAG! Here is the misconception, relief teachers are baby sitters. I did nothing of that sort today. I had to conduct a 1 and a half hour english class for P1, followed by another 1 hours of maths for P1 , Maths and PE for P3 and maths again for P1. Madness la!.. The best part was that I was reliefing 2 ... yes 2!! .. teachers...
Anyway, amist all the noise and screaming children, this was the first time I did not get stupid questions thrown at me . I normally get questions like "Are you married?""Do you have a boyfriend?"" Do you still live with your parents?" "Have you had sex?" Yes they do ask such things. I had that in a Girls' School. (sheesh* N NO i was not teaching sex edu)
Anyway, here are some of the things I heard today:
#1
Student:" MRS Lim, MRS LIM"
Me:" No. Not MRS, MS, stop caling my mother"
#2
Student:" I drew 2 tigers, male and female, and I colored the female one a different color cos the females always younger than male"
Me:" Erm.. OK"
#3
Student" No, she (refering to another student) is not a WOMAN. Only my mother is a woman cos she is married"
Me:"..........."
#4
Me:" Sit down and read and stop making noise"
Student:" I dont want to sit and read. I want to draw"
Me:" WELL, you dont have a CHOICE! SIT!"
Haha* yes that was my day. An although I am all stinky and sweaty, the first things I hit was the computer.. I just had to document this !!! HahA*

Its funny how people try to make themselves happy. I know of people who go on major shopping sprees. I know of friends who resort to sleeping with every possible guy around. I know of people who get themselves pissed drunk to forget. These are the extremes.
How do you make yourself happy?
I make myself happy simply by being alone. Surprisingly, being alone is something theraputic. When I say being alone, I dont mean sitting in my little corner and sulking. I mean, going on long walks without my handphone or simply turning off my phone for a good half a day. It helps me keep myself in check. I know I have been going off balance these pass few weeks. Why? I am irritated that I dont have a job, I am pissed with alot of things. Being alone helps me keep myself in check. I can't always resort to sleeping can I.
But this is not about me. Its about You. How do you make yourself happy? Have you found one thing that would make you happy? Does it truely make you happy? Dont give me the bullshit about finding the one true love or ideal job. Seriously, you think your true love or ideal job will always make you happy? Somehow happiness is not something you find from others or objects. I feel that happiness is the sense you get when you are at peace with yourself.
So, now the question is ... Are you at peace with yourself?
I know I am not truely happy. Dont get me wrong, I am not depress and shit. I am just not at peace with myself. I am still living in the "what ifs" What if I was given the chance to go Aussie? What if I had applied for mass comm instead of law? What if I did not screw my SIA interview? What if I hadn't do this or that? What ifs....I know life is sad when you have all these issues. But somehow, no matter how hard I try not to think about them they come back. They are like ghost of my past, leeches sucking me of my future. I want to let go, but I can't. Not just yet. And when I am alone, I hear the screams of my "what ifs" ....

I carried baby Janine yesterday .. WHAO.. at last .. after her crying into my ears.. haha... she stopped.. i was so scared tat i would drop her.. she was so light n tiny.. she started sucking my shoulder.. EEEE.. yes ..EEE.. but it was so ticklish!.. haha* i was giggling non stop..
Point proven: Jasmine cannot be a mother ever, or at least for now la..

Today marks the 1 and a half years that I have been together with him. Big deal, one and a half years only. I know people who say it is a very long time, while I know others who have said they have been with their other halfs longer. What ever the case, happy 1 and a half years darling. What ever the future may bring I would be there for u. (seriously la, i wouldn't go Squeak n vanish)
Anyway, on a heavier note. I have been thinking about this question for the longest time. How is it like to fall in love? (thanks sher) Its been something I have been pondering on since Sunday. I know I gave you a super deep answer but I am yet to belive what I told you. (sorry) I said to fall in love with someone or something is to look at that someone and know you want to spend the rest of your life with that someone. (puke* i dont believe i can be so mushy) Anyway, it that what it is to fall in love? With so much changes in this world, I know couples who have been together for like 6 years than they breakup. Its scary. Some how I feel, humanly, its impossible to love. Our feeling of love to that someone is govern by so many things. Is there really such a thing a unconditional love?
Ok let me get religious here, yes I know God loves us unconditionally and send his son to die for us.. Blah blah blah* (happy easter to you all ) But humanly can anyone do that. Lets not talk about a time when God commune directly with people. Lets talk about NOW, in this day and age where people have a scientific explaination for everything, can there be unconditional love. Can a parent confidently say that he/she loves his/her child unconditionally? Yes? No?.. Serioulsy I dont know. I dont want to know.
Over years of being married, can a couple still say they love each other the way they do when they first met. I dont know.
Sigh.. Its so easy to fall in love , but as time goes on.. Love becomes something people all take for granted.

With 3 days before the submmission of my projects, its a wonder how I am still able to be blogging at such a crucial time. I am short of one hand because of my operation so this entire post is being done with one hand. How am I suppose to finish 2 projects?
Well, on a lighter note, God seems to be doing something weird here. Everything is falling into place. I was so determine to get a job upon graduation, but no, no job for Jasmine. I went into major depression because I felt useless. None of the resumes I sent out recieved any reply.
But guess what... All those clowns are calling me back now!!! God has weird timing. My bangkok trip is almost thorugh and everything is working out for the best. I think God wanted me to be patient. Does that mean the airlines will call me back too? Well, right now I don't really bother, I want to pursue my dream to be a journalist, either for travel or a foregin correspondance. It seems like everything is pointing in that direction now.

4 April.
I woke this morning and realise it was only 4 am. Oh what joy. As I laid in bed and tried go back to sleep I can't help but think about my day.
1 month since school ended. I still have not found a job. I went for SQ interview, Jetstar, applied for Cathay, Silkair and Tiger. I have applied for many many writer jobs. Today would be my first interview with Singapore Information Services to be a writer. I am nervous cos there would be a writing test. Haha* Seriously, what does a 20 year old know about business.
There have been some highlights to my pathic week. One, I got an aritcle publish on youthInk straits times. I got an op tomorrow. Haha. I am going to book and trip to bali this saturday.
Oh last sunday was the bestest day yet. Rupen is the best. I went to watch him play soccer at sentosa. Then I actually wanted to go sun tann at the beach but he didn;t so we went to underwater world !!! It was so fun. I touched a shark like thing. I saw jellyfish, gaint crabs, sting rays, eels, gaint fishes and we went round the aquarium. Later we went to the gift shop and he got me 2 vibrating little hamsters :D. They are soo cute, I just named them today, Hammie and Grey. Anyway later we went to dolphin lagoon and it was sooo cool. Pink dolphins. They were so cute. Because the show started at 3.30 and we reached at 2.45, I had 45 mins to lie on the beach. (I fell asleep) Haha* After a fun day at Sentosa we went back to habor front to Coffee club. Had so much to eat. Garlic bread with Cheese, soft shell crab pasta, garlic prawn pasta, hoegraden, chocolate truffle and brownie. WHAO* So full after.
After spending a long day with Rupen, I just realise how much he really manjas me. Haha* I feel like a little kid with him. Haha* He never fails to me to laugh and get me alll kinds of toys. I have a huge list of toys that he already bought me. My baby Precious, to "naked" hamster boy, to limited ed carebear, sponge bob and now my vibrating hamsters. Hehe* That boy really spoils me. Sometimes I feel that I don't treat him well enough. Oh well* hehe* I hope get a job soon so I can super manja him all the way ! hehe*

Its been a long time since I lasted blogged my day to day doings. My previous blogs have been of photos and random widoes, though I doubt anyone have seen the hamster video I tried to upload. (failed attempt)
My day has been one of the longest yet. Yes, its only 11.00pm yet I am so tired. I went for an interview in the morning, came home, rushed to church and than to Lagoona Park and to Singapore Swimming Club. Seriously, I doubt anyone can be bothered about all this. The point of this blog is to list down some of my thoughts today:
#Thought 1.
Worry.
When U are in Sch, you worry that your pocket money is not enough to get you the coolest handphone (damn u want a job)
When u get a job, you worry that your salary is not enough to pay your bills and that your boss will fire you.
When u decide to change your job, you worry that you wouldnt have enough money.
When u see your friends with partners you worry you will never find one
When u get a partner you worry that it may not last
When u get something another thing corps up for you to worry abt.
Life, its just a bag of worries......
#Thought 2:
If you think God didn't allow you to get this thing in this form, do u think GOd will allow you to get the same thing in a different form?
